PAST ODEMO OF ISARA SO FAR...

PAST ODEMO OF ISARA SO FAR...

In  History ADEYEMO ode omo ooni. An Ife prince was the founder of Isara Remo. Isara is one of the first Remo mother town to have settled in this settlement called Remo. Isara is the second largest town In Remo coming after Sagamu!

Over 10years ago, the seat of the traditional ruler of the town has been vacant following the resumption into transition of late Oba Engnr. Adebayo Idowu Onadeko(Ogunsere Gbuko II) sometimes in July 2007.

Let's Recall Historically that...
The first Odemo of Isara is OBA ADEYEMO ODEMO who was the founder of Isara Remo.
He had eleven children both male and female. Historians of ancient time reveal that, a house is viable of having four angles, in lieu of this fact there was gazette among Adeyemo male offspring; ADENIJI, ADENIYI, ADEBIMPE, ADEGOKE.

Therefore after the demise of the first Odemo of Isara, the children of Adeyemo has been coming one after the other to take turn as rightly entitle to the stool of Odemo.

His first son, ADENIJI was the next Odemo after Adeyemo following the consultations made by Elders.  They met with him and said "IWO GAN lokan lati joba" that is where the ruling house  (ILE IGAN) emanated from till date.
His eulogy goes thus "Igan, olola bi yaya, gan bi ojo, okan uwo kaiye etc.

The next Oba was of the Descendant of ADENIYI - ROKODO. Eduwe, Aji-meshin gun yeye Odemo.

The next Oba after Rokodo was of the descendant of ADEBIMIPE ERINSIBA-GUGU, omo Erin Lola, efon niyi, erinjogunola sekeloye.

The next to emerge Was, ADEGOKE POKE BI OWULA, OMO TOJU IYA RE JOBA...

from this ruling houses in history, some has presented candidate to rule Isara thrice, 5times, 6times some even once.
Today; ISARA have SIX  ruling Houses;

- IGAN LABIYA
- ROKODO OGUNSERE
- ERINSIBA-AYOLEDOYE
- POKE BI OWULA
- OTETE
- AFONLADE...

From the above six ruling houses, there has always been rotation among the ruling houses after any ruler go into transition.

Note also that, in the history of Yoruba land, when we talk about original Crown, its not common everywhere, ISARA is one of the town in Yoruba land blessed with AUTHENTIC TRADITIONAL CROWN (ADE ISEMBAYE/ADE OWURO).

There comes a king that is very famous in the land known for his excellent hunting of wild animals just like their father... POKE II.
This Poke ruling house is of great reference because, lets recall that Adeyemo the great hunter and founder of Isara during one of his hunting expedition, he hunted for his 5th elephant beside OKUN town. this is the period when ADEGOKE POKE was born. Justification to this history is the evident of the 5 elephants in the front of ODEMO ONOBAJO (Poke ) palace. ASK ELDERs cos that palace is no more there. Though I asked my grand-father and he verify it yes!

The Reason why we refer to sons and daughters of Isara as "Omo Afotamodi"

In the ancient time, there was War around Yoruba land, for war not to wage in to ISARA, the founder made consultation to IFA...
ifa instruct him to use stone to build big fence around the town with sacrifice. This was made possible through sons and daughters of ISARA and residents. This is the reason why we refer to us as "Omo Afotamodi kogun ma wolu" till today. Its not in history that War has invade Isara before, instead, Isara serve as accommodating abode for refugees whom war invaded their towns.

In history ISARA had 36 kings minus those who was unable to go through traditional sacrificial right before going into transition. Some of the Obas in history are;

Oba Adeyemo Odemo
Oba Adeniji Igan I
Rokodo I
Erinsiba I
Poke I
Ojokoboye
Ogunsere Gboko
Otete
Wegunsen
Legunsen
Gbalaja
Adebinipe
Sakasaka-mi-woroworo
Folagbade
Ayole
Odukogbe
Poke II
Oba Olajano
Elehinkule Orifiwolupen
Folagbade II
Seke loye, o joye koye wunii je
Atokobo Wa gbuwa ...

Oba ONOBAJO POKE III...
Apparently, to say the fact, poke Onabajo III was the reigning oba that any elders  in Isara today can say they met on throne.
The likes of sir. Olaniwun Ajayi also confirms that, he was the Oba he met on throne... POKE III reign from 1914 - 1941.

Although, Oba Onabajo had no former or western education, it is said that he was very sagacious, shrewd and patriotic. It was during his time that the old township roads were made under the direction of one pa. Obafemi who was the Oba's effective road overseer. In his time, proceeds from the sale of communal lands were used to maintain the rest house and the police barracks and was used towards the construction of Isara township roads.
Oba Onabajo was a farmer with specialization in cash crops. Consequently, most of the time, he was on his farm somewhere outside the town.

Alaiyeluwa Oba Samuel Adetayo Akisanya, Afonlade II (1941 - 1985) succeeded Oba Onabajo, poke III. Oba Akisanya was the first literate Oba that Isara had. There is something significantly important to Oba Akisanya's credit which was never so before his reign. It was He who raised Isara from obscurity to the glare of publicity and National recognition by the fact of his own popularity. Oba Akisanya was a man of engaging personality and engaging presence. In his time, he was one of the best dressed men in Yoruba land - either according to English custom or Yoruba culture and tradition.

ALAIYELUWA OBA ADEBOYE OLADELE OSINDEINDE IGAN II 1989 - 1994
He was a civil servant and had reached the pinnacle of his career before he ascended to the throne. Oba Osideinde was a lawyer with Federal civil service.

ALAIYELUWA OBA ADEBAYO IDOWU ONADEKO (OGUNSERE GBUKO II) 1996 - 2007.
He was a civil servant and had reached the pinnacle of his career before he ascended to the throne. Oba Onadeko, a distinguished engineer, was a senior civil servant  and controller in the Federal ministry of works.
Alaiyeluwa Oba Adebayo Idowu Onadeko ogunsere gbuko II, the Odemo of Isara  joined his ancestors on Wednesday 4th July, 2007.

Since 2007, the stool of Odemo has been vacant, ERINSIBA AYOLEDOYE ruling house is the next ruling house to present king.
It all turns to legal issue, court decision is what we've been waiting for.

In 2015, youths of Isara made effort and protested to know the reasons for the long vacancy in the community leadership. All efforts of the youths, though it create a landmark and starting point to the elders by registering into them a sense of way forward to making sure an Odemo emerge.

On the 29th of March, 2018
The final court judgement on the obaship  issue was delivered...
The prince who emerge as the New Odemo-elect from court is PRINCE ALBERT ADEBOSE MAYUNGBE as pronounce in the court.

The people of Isara are very happy that Isara is gonna have a king after a very long period of time.
It saddens my heart, a lot of illustrious son have gone, though they wish to witness this good news buy today they are no more. Hundreds of people have gone before today. Even those we were together in the struggle to have a king, some are no more. Still we thank God for today.

Crowds welcome Prince Adebose Mayungbe as he rally around the town on his way back from court. He branched many places like Seriki house, and chief Olisa of Isara house. In the front of Lisa Onamuyiwa's house there was shower of rainfall that everybody was amaze in happiness signifying tide of change and new era. Igba yin a tuwa Lara oooo

I beseech you sons and daughters of Isara, lets live in unity and oneness, what we do today will become history. Isara is our home, we have no other place to call our home. Come together let's make it a better place.

Isara a sunwon, a tu dede eni n'ara...
God bless Sons and daughters of Isara.
Alaafia a tubo joba Nile yii ooo.

Omoba erinsiba gugu
Omo ayole doye
Omoba loke-robu
 omo Erin Lola, efon niyi,
Omo erinjogunola
Omoba Ogunsere gbuko.
Omo kariwo lade...

God bless.
Long live ISARA LAND!
Long live REMO KINGDOM!
Angry Youths Disrupt Buruji's Visit to Ijebu East.

Saturday 24th March,2018  would continue to linger in the memory of the Ogun East Senator as one of the days he recorded bad political outing in his life.

Senator Buruji Kashamu was at Ijebu Ife in Ijebu East yesterday for his initial visit to the local government area that had erlier been scheduled before about three weeks ago but was postponed till yesterday due to the reason best known to him.

His yesterday's visit might not be unconnected with the 2019 general elections, whether he is preparing to seek re-election back to senate or contest for Ogun guber election in 2019 as being speculated from different angles and also from his followers.

The angry youths had earlier granted audience to both Otunba Ayinde Awobadejo and Hon Oyenuga Samuel respectively when they  addressed the party members at the gathering which took place at Ita-Wade in Ijebu Ife. They both addressed the gathering about their individual ambition to vie for 2019 FEDERAL HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES to represent Ijebu North, Ijebu East and Ogun Waterside Federal Constituency in the Green Chamber of the National Assembly.

But when it was the turn of Senator Buruji Kashamu to address the gathering at Ita-Wade in Ijebu Ife, the irate youths did not allow the senator to alter a word as they started booing him continously, his effort to avert the ugly situation proved abortive, and Senator Buruji Kashamu later left the venue in annoyance without making a speech to the people at the gathering yesterday.

A source within the senator's caucus from Ogbere Ward in Ijebu East also informed our sleuth that when Senator Buruji Kashamu also tried to make moves in going to Ogbere township yesterday to commission the 10-open stalls constructed at Ogbere market as part of the senator's 2017 CONSTITUENCY PROJECT, he was frankly told that he should not venture to come to Ogbere town, as yesterday was the day set aside in the ancient town to kick-start the traditional process of selecting a new king for Ogbere town, and that safety was not guaranteed according to the reliable source.

Anthony Joshua set for unification title fight in Cardiff.
Published, Mar 30, 2018.

A leaner and lighter Anthony Joshua weighed in some six pounds heavier than Joseph Parker on Friday for the battle of the undefeated heavyweight world champions in Cardiff. The Briton tipped the scales at 17 stones four pounds and two ounces at the weigh-in, attended by a crowd of more than 4,000, compared to the New Zealander’s 16 stones 12 pounds and seven ounces.

Joshua, the reigning WBA, IBF and IBO world champion, is also taller and with a six inch reach advantage over Parker, who will be bringing his WBO belt to the Principality Stadium for Saturday night’s unification fight. The Briton had stepped into the ring against Cameroonian-French opponent Carlos Takam in Cardiff last October, for a defence he won in 10 rounds, at a career-high 18 stones and two pounds.

“I’ve been running well, training well,” said the 2012 Olympic champion, who has a 20-0 record with all his fights won by knockout. “Losing that little bit of extra weight has made things that little bit easier. “I feel better…if everything goes to plan, you’ll see I’ll be a lot sharper and my reactions and timing will be a lot better,” the Briton told the crowd. Joshua’s camp had made much of just how seriously the 28-year-old was taking training, his obsession with shedding the pounds and how that had been paying off in his ringcraft and training.

Anthony Joshua Parker, 24-0, took it as a compliment ahead of what will be the biggest fight of his career, with an 80,000-strong crowd expected through the doors on Saturday. “It makes me think that he’s taking this fight really seriously, he’s trained very hard,” he said after standing face to face and staring into the eyes of his opponent for the last time before they meet in the ring. “He’s in good shape, I’m in good shape.

There’s not much of a weight difference, which is good. we’re both going to be fast for tomorrow night, we’re both going to move well and throw some big bombs.” Parker said he saw confidence in Joshua’s eyes, and was ready for anything. “I’m here for a good fight, I’m here for war,” he declared.

“You’re going to have to give me everything to beat me…he’s got a bigger crowd but that doesn’t matter, that doesn’t faze us.” Saturday’s fight will bring the heavyweight title a step closer to undisputed status and put the focus even more on American Deontay Wilder, who holds the WBC crown and is undefeated in 40.

Duties of House of Representatives!
From Hon. Yinka Mafe's Desk (Majority Leader, OGHA).
Published March 24, 2018.

In line with Hon. Yinka Mafe's ambition, he feels that there is a need to let people know the duties of "house of Representative members" according to the constitution.

The House of Representatives is the second chamber in Nigeria’s bicameral legislature, the National Assembly. The National Assembly (NASS) is the nation's highest legislature, whose power to make laws is summarized in chapter one, section four of the 1999 Nigerian Constitution.
Sections 47-49 of the 1999 Constitution state inter alia that "There shall be a National Assembly (NASS) for the federation which shall consist of two chambers: the Senate and the House of Representatives".

The House of Representatives is headed by the Speaker assisted by the Deputy Speaker. These Presiding officers serve as political heads. There are three hundred and sixty (360) members in the House of Representatives representing the 360 Federal Constituencies, the country is divided based on population.
The Constitution has vested in the House of Representatives the power to make laws for the peace, order and good governance of the Federation.

The House of Representatives also has broad oversight functions and is therefore empowered to establish committees of its members to scrutinize bills and the conduct of government institutions and officials.
The House of Representatives is also empowered by the Constitution to legislate on Exclusive, Concurrent and Residual lists.

Still on the matter... #MafeLafeLabuja2019!

Dapchi Girls: Boko Haram Speaks On Receiving Ransom From Nigerian Govt.

Boko Haram members who released Dapchi schoolgirls reportedly told residents of the community three things while releasing the 104 of the 110 girls that were abducted a few weeks back.
According to BBC Reporter in Nigeria, Stephanie Hegarty, the terrorists, told residents that they did not collect ransom from the Federal government.
Boko Haram also debunked insinuations that the girls may have been sexually abused and warned the girls never to return to school
“Dapchi resident told me Boko Haram preached to them this morning, saying three things – that the girls are not to go back to school, that they didnt receive money from Gov and that the did not sexually assault the children, Hegarty tweeted.

PUBLIC NOTICE

*Disclaimer on Remo Federal Constituency On line Poll between Hon. (Barr.) AsiwajuYinka Mafe and one Asiwaju Bolarinwa Oluwole**

The attention of the people of Remo Federal Constituency has been drawn to the above publication in an online news media 'newspersecond247', wherein it was stated that Hon. Asiwaju Yinka Mafe lost in an online acceptability poll to one Asiwaju Bolarinwa Oluwole.

Ordinarily, we would not have reacted to this sort of banter and shenanigans coming from untrained minds who do not understand the basic metrics of determining outcome of an online poll, suffice it to say that, the online poll under reference is still ongoing. However, it is very important that we issue this disclaimer on this cheap misrepresentation of facts of the ongoing on line poll between Hon. (Barr.) Asiwaju Yinka Mafe and one Asiwaju Bolarinwa Oluwole.

For the avoidance of doubt, in the referenced online Poll, Asiwaju Yinka Mafe lead is still clear over the competitor, even as Asiwaju Mafe was never privy to the setting up of the online poll contrary to insinuations from the warped imaginations of the writer in that pedestrian, banal and wishywashy newspersecond247 publication. The lead of Hon. (Barr) Asiwaju Yinka Mafe over Asiwaju Bolarinwa Oluwole in the ongoing online poll is verifiable, the voters' list is open and can be ascertained by ANY Facebook user.

It is very important to stress that, Hon. Asiwaju Yinka Mafe is ready to test his acceptability and popularity at any time. His sterling, unequalled and unassailable records of performance  in office are eloquent testimonies that he is the choice and only preference of the people of Remo Federal Constituency to represent us in the Federal House of Representatives come 2019.

It is needless asking the people of Remo to ignore and discountenance that cheap, unfounded, shallow on line publication of newspersecond247 alluding that Asiwaju Yinka Mafe lost in an online popularity poll to one Asiwaju Bolarinwa Oluwole. If they were confident of their track records in public office, they would have used their real identity and not a proxy. This is not the first online poll, Asiwaju Yinka Mafe would be participating in, he has come tops in all of them including an online poll for the best member of the Ogun House of Assembly 2017, it is therefore laughable how his acceptability has suddenly fallen despite his visibility, approachability and the un paralleled goodwill of Remo people enjoyed by Asiwaju Yinka Mafe.

For the up tempt time, we the good people of the Remo Federal Constituency have already made our choice clear in Hon. Asiwaju Yinka Mafe to be our representative in The House of Representatives come 2019 and God Almighty has already sanctioned it.
