Man, 72, Caught With Human Skull In Osun

A 72-year-old man arrested in Iwo, Osun state for removing a human skull from a cemetery says he made a mistake.
Idris Ajao claimed to be a bricklayer, but said a herbalist Tajudeen Jawesola had assigned him to exhume skulls from graves in the cemetery in return for N10,000.
Police, acting on a tipoff, deployed around the cemetery and arrested him with a skull.
The Commissioner of Police in the state, Fimihan Adeoye said police detectives got the hint about the atrocities of Ajao and trailed him until he was caught with the skull.

Ajao told Daily Trust, “Mistake has no master.”
“It was Jawesola that asked me to get the human skull for him. Everybody knows Jawesola to be herbalist and he wanted to use the human skull to do his work. He said he would give me N10, 000. I should not have listened to him. It is a mistake”.
Police are still on the trail for Jawesola.

“Muslims Should Destroy Their Quran”-Kemi Olunloyo

Controversial media personality, Kemi Olunloyo have directed her sharp sword at the Muslims barely a week after calling Christians “fake”.
She took to Facebook to explain why she lures Muslims to destroy their holy book. Probably after proving her points, we are eagerly awaiting the Muslims response.
“#HNNReligion THE KORAN PAGES NEEDS TO BE RECYCLED CLEARLY. NOBODY SHOULD FEAR MUSLIMS! MUSLIMS SHOULD DESTROY THEIR QURANS OR ALLAH WILL DISOWN YOU.
Just like the bible, the Koran is a tool of destruction. No reasonable muslim should ever touch it. Because of the Koran, Yahya Jammeh of #Gambia who always holds one visibly everywhere he goes and islamized his country has refused to step down. Because of the Koran #ISIS is cutting prisoner’s heads off like slaughtered goats. Jihad all over the world, because of the Koran, muslim men are marrying up to 4 women and we have 94,000 pregnant women…WITH HIV in #Zamfara state #Nigeria with polygamous homes spreading the disease.
Why is there pedophilia in the Koran? Pedophilia is highly unacceptable. Defiling kids is insanity, something many of you joke and laugh about. Remember earlier this year that disgusting filthy elephant #TokunboAboderin made a video saying my father defiled me at 13yo when he came home drunk fathering my own son. I didn’t even have kids till 22yo and the brainwashed illiterates believed her.
Of course the Daily Post’s @OgbecheDanielle set her lies straight and I trashed her MERCILESSLY @tvcconnect on my exclusive interview Dec 13th 2016. Silence is never the best answer for a fool. You reply or you accept their lies as truth. Many muslims have been caught defiling young teens. Why is this in the Koran? Who are the infidels the Koran is asking others to kill? Tear up these nonentity religious books of doom which are tools of death. Many killed in terrorist attacks simply because they could not RECITE the Quran.
A way of screening muslim hostages, free them and kill the brainwashed Christians. It happened at #Westgate mall in #Kenya. My grandmother died at 102 in 2013 and was the most famous muslim woman in #Ibadan #Nigeria. Alhaja Bintu Tejumola Olunloyo will tell you #Islam is a religion of peace and I will say AMEN to that but to that Koran, I would like to bury it on my shit when I’m about to FLUSH the toilet. Spiritual Muslims is what the world needs now not Koran addicts. My former moronic neighbor once slammed his Koran on the ground to swear.”

Woman Beheaded For Going Shopping Without Her Husband

A woman has reportedly been beheaded by a group of armed men in Afghanistan after she entered a city without her husband.
The horrific act took place in the remote village of Latti in Sar-e-Pul province, which is under Taliban control.
Under Taliban rule, women are prohibited from leaving their homes unless accompanied by a close male relative. They are also banned from working or education and are forced to wear the burqa.
Provincial Governor spokesman Zabiullah Amani told the Nation that the 30-year-old woman was targeted because she went out alone without her husband, who is in Iran. She had gone to the market to shop.
The Taliban have rejected any involvement in this latest incident.
Earlier this month five female Afghan guards working in the airport in southern Kandahar were killed by unknown gunmen as they were on their way to work, the latest in a string of attacks against women in Afghanistan.
From bomb attacks to targeted or honour killings or domestic abuses, Afghan women have borne the brunt of the 15 years of conflicts during the Taliban-led insurgency as security has deteriorated and violence has increased in most parts of the country.
Despite years of pressure by women’s groups and foreign donors, Afghanistan remains one of the most difficult places to be a woman.

Police arrest suspect planning to bomb Third Mainland Bridge

Explosives recovered from the suspect
The police authorities in Abuja have foiled suspected attempts by a notorious militant group, operating from the creeks of Ikorodu and Arepo areas of Lagos and Ogun States, to bomb the Third Mainland Bridge, the longest bridge in West Africa.
AyiekotoOgun gathered yesterday that a top commander of the group, Abiodun Amos, who is also known as Senti, an Ijaw native of Arugbo, from Ese-Odo Local Council of Ondo State, was arrested by operatives of the Inspector General of Police Special Intelligence Response Team (IRT).
The suspect, who was also said to be the group’s chief expert in explosives, was trailed to a riverbank at the Majidu area of Ikorodu, Lagos.Sources disclosed that two AK47 rifles, hidden in a ‘Ghana-Must-Go’ bag, were found in his possession at the time of his arrest, while he led the IRT operatives to a vehicle parked discreetly within Ikorodu, where a large cache of dynamite and detonators were recovered from its boot.
The intelligence, which was generated by the office of the National Security Adviser (NSA), was passed on to the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, indicating that the group was at its final stage of carrying out an attack on the Third Mainland Bridge.
The IGP, who was said to be dazed by the report, swiftly directed his operatives at the IRT, led by Abba Kyari, an Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), to commence a full-scale investigation and it was discovered afterwards that the group was actually planning to blow up the bridge at the end of November 2016.
Further investigation revealed that the group had acquired large quantities of dynamite and several other explosives, which would be used for the attack.
Meanwhile, in October 2016, the group, which has no known identity and was notorious for pipeline vandalism, kidnapping and bank robberies, had demanded amnesty, threatening to disrupt economic activities within Lagos and Ogun States if the Federal Government does not dialogue with them and grant them pipeline protection contracts.
The leader of the militant group, known as General Ossy Ibori, who had in recent time coordinated most of the bank robberies and several high-profile kidnappings, including those of three school girls, at Babington Macaulay Junior Seminary School in Ikorodu, four landlords at Isheri North Area of Lagos, Oniba of Ibaland, Oba Goriola Oseni, and several others, within the Lagos and Ogun state‎s axis, boasted that his group has over 21 generals commanding 7,800 battle-ready boys.
When newsmen interviewed the 43-year-old suspect, he confessed that his militant group was formerly into pipeline vandalism but they resorted into kidnapping when it became difficult for them to vandalize and sell their stolen petroleum products.
According to him: “We went into bank robberies and kidnapping because we wanted to get government attention and all we wanted was for them to grant us amnesty and also offer us pipeline protection contract. We have made several appeals and the government is not listening to us.
“General Ossy said if we don’t blow up the Third Mainland Bridge, government would not listen to us. We had concluded plans and we decided to carry out the attack in November ending. I am the group’s explosive expert and before I was arrested we were going into the creek to conclude plans on how to carry out the attack,” he said.

Foreigner Captured In Sambisa Is Specialist In Repairing & Unlocking Armoured Vehicles

The veil has been partially lifted off the mysterious white man captured by Nigerian soldiers during last week’s storming of Boko Haram’s headquarters in the Sambisa Forest.
According to reporters, the mysterious white man is a Frenchman and he specializes in repairing and unlocking armoured personnel vehicles and other fighting equipment
Reporters says they learnt this from authoritative military sources yesterday. The white man’s identity is being concealed by the Federal Government and military authorities for diplomatic reasons, the sources also said.
Defence Headquarters has been silent on the development since the news broke last Friday, shortly after President Muhammadu Buhari announced that Boko Haram’s last stronghold in the Sambisa forest, Borno State had been overrun by troops.
Soldiers who took part in the operation told us yesterday that a white man was actually arrested in the Sambisa forest and that he has been providing “credible information” to military authorities. A source said,

“He was arrested along the Bama axis of the Sambisa forest and agreed to give vital information provided he would be spared. I learnt that he is from France but authorities do not want to make his real identity known for diplomatic reasons…They don’t want to jeopardize the success recorded.”
Although some sources only said the captured white man is “from Western Europe,”
we learnt that he is actually a Frenchman. All Nigeria’s neighbours in the North East, namely Cameroon, Niger Republic and Chad are French speaking.
The French embassy in Nigeria did not respond to email and text message sent to it for comment yesterday, DT added.

...says seven persons have shown interest
...denies disparaging Tinubu
Olasunkanmi Akinlotan
Ogun state governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun has  said that he may not know the next governor after him, but, knows those that would not succeed him.

The governor said this on Friday in Abeokuta at the APC, Ogun State members of National Assembly caucus meeting.
In the meeting which attracted state APC executive council, the governor disclosed that no fewer than seven persons have shown interest to become next governor after  him.
He said, with his assessment,  none of them qualifies to become governor of the state.
The governor however,  denied  making disparaging comments on the leader of APC and former Lagos state governor,  Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, noting that  Tinubu had stood by him when he needed him,
While reacting to an alleged online report whose content pitched  him against Tinubu, Amosun challenged those behind the report to provide the evidence to back their claims.
Amosun said , "What happened was that we wanted to have a parliamentary caucus meeting. And we said we would be having it quarterly but we discovered that our commissioners are not there and the elders of the party too must be there, infact we were phoning round to know if we should call only the working committees or who should we call?.
"So we called  about four people asking how many are the working committees, some said 26 while some said the working committees are 16 but because the state chairman is no more there, it should be 15 and at a point we agreed that ;let us call only the state working committee , which  will include, the commissioners, the assembly members and the national assembly members and that,  the meeting will hold at the government house.
"It wasn't our normal meeting it was just the parliamentary caucus meeting.
"Well, but for me, we should be happy, that some people are afraid of whatever we do and that is why they are running helter skelter.
"If there  are cowards or traitors somewhere trying to record or do any other thing, those people can not do anything.
"But let me say this and I have been saying it all the time, that we might not be able to say clearly now,who becomes the next governor, but ,we know those who will not be governor.
"And I think I did mention that time, that, it is this Ogun state that I was born and schooled (my primary, secondary and tertiary institution) here. So, if I speak, I am speaking from the position of strength and I know that with all our elders, even those  that are apolitical, I know that I know those  that will not be governor.
"I know that at the appropriate time we would get our people together and we would say this is your son  and we would pick and whoever we pick is going to become governor.
"If you want something, there are several ways of getting it, imagine someone saying that 'I said, Asiwaju Tinubu will finish him in lagos.' but what I said to those who told me, was that, don't worry about that one, what will happen in any other place I do not know and I don't talk about what I do not know.
"By the way I say all the time that,Asiwaju stood by me when I needed him I have ways of reaching Asiwaju although he did not give me any money but my dad will  say that an helper must not be disappointed.
"But if they say we are confident, Yes we are very very confident that in this Ogun state, whoever is backing them is only wasting his or her  time.
"Here in Ogun state we are not God, we are humans, but ,at the appropriate time when we say this is the governor ,our people will support, because our leader both those within and those outside will support us and we would win.

"This one it would be no campaign. So warn them they are just wasting their time and money.
"So for ME, whatever am going to say,am going to say it, the way we were brought  up we are not cowards nor traitors.'he that is not to be counsel can never be saved' so for me I don't hide under one finger to fight.
"Seven people have told me they want to become governor but all the seven are just wasting their time when the time comes we would tell our people.
"On Ondo election, we have won and we would continue to win ,so, if they have money let them go and keep it. When it is time for us to spend money, we would spend very well for our people."

Man Narrates Shocking Story Of How He Was Robbed By SARS Officials Last Night In Lagos

“This is a warning to everyone and It’s also a step in the path to justice. Tonight at about 11:30pm, i and my team were headed for an event i was invited to on the island. we were all leaving from my sisters place which is at new oko oba. We had not gotten past one street after my sisters when our ride was blocked by a blue toyota big daddy with registeration number smk 517 bm. Out came 4 men carrying rifles branded with the nigerian police flag. They were all in civilian clothes, although their black polo tops had SARS printed on it. They weren’t wearing name tags too. Unidentifiable and maybe even untraceable, these men said we should get into their car without reason. When we resisted they started hitting us and that was when things became ugly. They used leg cuffs to hit us injuring my brother on the head, fired shots in the air as we struggled with them trying to scare people who were coming close to the scene to intervene. They also took a phone, jewelry (neck pieces and a wristwatch) from us then got into their car not returning any of the items they had taken initially. The problem with this incident is that these men, with the assurance that nothing will happen could have easily shot us dead or maimed us. I am employing people in authority to look into this division of the NPF. They can’t continue to treat people like animals. Unfortunatley we couldn’t take pictures or videos because they grabbed the first phone we pulled out to record the whole thing. All we have is a picture of my brother’s head injury and the plate number of the car they drove.”

Amosun Pays N12.5bn Deductions, Gratuities and Severance Allowance to Workers

Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, has approved the total sum of N12.5 billion for the payment of gratuities, cooperative deductions arrears and severance allowance of former Political office holders in the state.

This was disclosed, on Wednesday, by the Secretary to the State Government, SSG, Barrister Taiwo Adeoluwa while addressing a press conference at the Governor’s office, Oke Mosan.

Giving a breakdown of the payments, Adeoluwa said N5.5bn has been disbursed for the payment of 6 months arrears of outstanding cooperative deductions to all categories of the workforce.

Another N6bn was disbursed for the payment of gratuities to pensioners covering the period between November 2012 and January 2014.

The SSG explained that the gratuity payment would benefit not less than 2,429 retirees.

It should be recalled that the Governor Amosun-led administration on assumption of office in 2011 started clearing the backlog of gratuity payments from 2007 and has now paid up till January 2014.

The SSG added that the state government has also approved the payment of N1bn to clear the balance of severance allowance due to political office holders who served the immediate past administration of former Governor Gbenga Daniel between 2007 and 2011 as well as those who served between 2011 and 2015.

Explaining the source of the fund, the Secretary to the State Government said, it came from the N10.6bn Ogun State government received from the Paris Club refund, which the federal government recently shared to different states of the Federation.

He explained that whereas the federal government advised state governments to use only 50 per cent of the fund for payment of workers’ emolument, the Ogun State governor has decided to spend it all on the workforce because of the love the governor has for the workers.

“Ogun State is not only using the entire fund it received but has also added N1.9bn,” the SSG said. He added that this was aside the fact that the state government, in its usual practice, has paid December 2016 salary plus 13th month salary to all categories of workers at both state and local government levels.

Barr. Adeoluwa therefore thanked the entire civil servants in the state for their endurance while “affirming that the welfare of our workers is paramount to us." The SSG added that government would continue to do all within its power to cater for the civil and public servants.

Two guys arrested for robbery in Ogun State, see how related they are.

Two blood brothers have been arrested for allegedly robbing their next door neighbors in Ogun State.

Two blood brother, Rilwan andKazeem Iyiola, have been arrested by the Ogun State Police Command for allegedlyrobbing their neighbours in the Ota area of the state, Punch reports.

Rilwan, a 21-one-year-old undergraduate of a university in Osun State who led his 19-year-old younger brother for the operation, allegedly confessed that said he was desperate to raise money so he could go to another institution because the course he was studying presently was forced on him.
The 200-level Political Science student and his brother, allegedly robbed the couple identified, Oluwafemi and Yetunde Imafidon, who live on the same Oluwole Fagbote Street, Ota, where the suspects live.
It was gathered that the brothers who wore masks during the operation, stormed the couple’s apartment around 2 am on Thursday, December 15, 2016, wielding cutlasses, and ordered the victims to submit their laptops and other belongings.
But Oluwafemi was said to have resisted the suspects’ request which resulted in a struggle between him and one of the brothers.
“I struggled with one and was able to push him to the wall, while the other cut me with a cutlass. Despite the blood coming out from my body, I kept struggling with him.
I succeeded in removing the mask he used. That was when I realised he was my neigbour. He and his accomplice, who later turned to be his brother, eventually escaped. They came in through the attic of the store,” Oluwafemi told journalist at the hospital where he is receiving treatment.
The brothers were later arrested by policemen from the Onipanu Station led by the Divisional Police Officer (DPO), CSP Muyideen Obe, where the case was reported.
Confessing to the crime, Rilwan said:
“Political Science is not the course I wanted. I told my father that I wanted to change my course of study, but he ignored me.
I have been given admission in a university in Ekiti and I have started the processing. I need money to pay the acceptance and school fees.
I came up with the idea of robbing the couple since the wife sells laptops. My initial plan was to stay in the attic till there was no one in the house, and then I would go down to steal their valuables. I created an entrance from our apartment to theirs a night before.”
The younger brother, Kazeem, himself an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) holder, said he bought into his brother’s idea because he needed a laptop.
“I needed a laptop and my brother suggested that we should rob our neighbours. Since I would be able to get a laptop for myself, I agreed to the deal.”
The State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), ASP Abimbola Oyeyemi, who confirmed the arrest of the brothers, said they would be transferred to the Special Anti-Robbery Squad in Eleweran, Abeokuta, for proper investigation and would be charged to court at the end of it.

Lagos Commercial Bus Driver Allegedly Shot Dead By Police Officer

Facebook user, Christiana Ekpiken shared the very graphic photos from the incident, revealing that the driver who was being chased by the officers was shot dead.
News reports have revealed how a commercial bus driver was allegedly shot dead by some police officers at 1004 gate along the Lekki-Epe Expressway on Friday, December 17, 2016.

She wrote: “This horrible scenario happened yesterday 16th of December along 1004 lekki express Road, Lagos. He was shot by a police officer in a patrol van chasing after him, probably because the driver didn’t stop while being chased.
“The said driver was harmless carrying passengers yet he was shot by the police officer and immediately the officer noticed his death, He ran away with his team and caused serious accident with other nearby vehicles.(Eye witness said) This is a shame and disgrace to the NIGERIAN POLICE FORCE FOR HAVING OFFICERS WHO LACK DISCIPLINE, STUPID TEMPERAMENTS AND INABILITY TO APPREHEND SITUATIONS PROFESSIONALLY”.
This is hardly the first of such reports, as many others have been killed under similar circumstances for the silliest reasons.
May the soul of the deceased rest in peace.

To Live Long, Avoid Smoked Fish, Roasted Corn, Plantain, Expert Says

-Lincoln4Jesus, AiyekootoOgun online
For Nigerians to defeat non communicable diseases and live long, they must avoid excessive or continuous intake of smoked fish, roasted corn, roasted plantain and other enticing, but unhealthy foods, the Managing Director, Integrated Medical Centre, Dr. Damilola Familoni has said.
She notes that though these were hard to resist delicacies for Nigerians, they were ladened with cancer causing effects and other disease risk factors which manifests much later in life, stressing that one of the surest prevention methods against cancer, diabetes, hypertension and obesity was adopting a healthy lifestyle which includes healthy living.
According to her, “disease burden was becoming prominent in Nigeria, hence it was best to adopt healthcare provision that would make them spend less while getting adequate and appropriate diagnosis, treatment and management of their various health issues.
“All these can’t be addressed by out-of-pocket health provision as majority of Nigerians are living below the poverty line and are unable to afford healthcare. But with health insurance, it is easier to maximally take advantage of healthcare provision. Organisations, governments and individuals should adopt this model if we must reduce incidence of health issues in the country,” Familoni added.
Meanwhile, the Chief Executive Officer, AVON HMO, Mrs. Adesimbo Ukiri said with the launch of the online service, Nigerians can now buy and enroll to health plans from the organisation’s website via their mobile phones, laptops and tablets.
She said: “When we started three years ago, our belief was that Nigerians from all walks of life should be able to access good quality healthcare services when they need it, without financial constraint leading to unnecessary complications and fatalities .
“With our health plans starting as low as N15,000 per year, we have indeed brought quality healthcare services to the average Nigerian. Subscription to an Avon HMO plan means that whenever a covered ill health or accident occurs, the state of one’s finances won’t matter as Avon HMO oversees the healthcare service delivery and foots the bill. By giving people the ability to buy and subscribe online via mobile phones and other devices, we are bringing convenient and affordable healthcare services to everyone.”
She sad with the innovation, the current three to four per cent of Nigerians using health insurance will increase.

Singer, MC Galaxy Regrets His Decision To ‘Invest’ N25m In MMM

Sekem crooner, Mc Galaxy has bemoaned his decision to invest 25m Naira in Ponzi scheme, MMM. According to the singer, he had invested in the scheme on advice by friends, but it appears he is now regretting this decision. MMM was frozen yesterday for a month by its organizers, thereby affecting the ability of its members to withdraw their money from the accounts during the coming festive period. It was however promised that the scheme will be back to normal but January 2017 but there is no surety to this. He wrote; “That moment when u waiting for January 2017… God cover me over my enemies and mmm, 25m na waooo! My manager @woleogundarepush me to this smh #sad” This is probably a stunt being pulled by the singer, because there’s no way to confirm if he actually invested as he claims. Some MMM experts investors that was consulted said there is no truth to his claims, as any amount more than #3 million cannot be invested in the system by a single person. There’s however a possibility that he might have invested through other people; but there’s no way to prove that too. So it is adviced to take his claims with a pinch of salt.

Man drinks insecticide as MMM ‘crashes’ two weeks to wedding

A man has attempted to commit suicide in Benue State by ingesting insecticide after Mavrodi Mondial Moneybox froze accounts of participants in the Ponzi scheme, two weeks to his wedding.
The development which has led to panic among millions in the country hit the man, identified as Adakole, hard as he had reportedly invested N300,000 meant for his wedding in the scheme.
Realising that not only was his investment and 30 per cent interest unlikely to accrue to him before the wedding, but he risked losing everything, he opted to take his life and consumed insecticide.
Daily Post quoted a friend of the MMM victim as saying he is battling for his life at a clinic in Otukpo where the incident occurred.
The friend, who said Adakole had called him to confirm if it was true that the scheme had “crashed” before attempting to take his life, also told Daily Post that he had contacted the fiancée who resided in Abuja.
MMM had on Tuesday announced that it was freezing accounts for one month, a move seen by many as indicating that the scheme had crashed as long expected.
Although those behind the scheme stressed in a notice to participants that it had not crash, many believe it was just masking the fact that it had scammed people as predicted by regulatory authorities.
The scheme had since been declared illegal by the Federal Government.

SA Pastor Who Made His Members Drink Dettol, Spotted Buying More Bottles, Claiming He’s Been Receiving Amazing Testimonies.

Despite of the statement, issued by Dettol South Africa, condemning Prophet Rufus Phala for forcing members of his church to drink the liquid antiseptic, the “man of god” was spotted at a local supermarket buying more bottles of the liquid antispetic.
Prophet Phala of the Spiritual Christian Church in Makgodu Village, outside Polokwane in Limpopo, had made his members drink Dettol antiseptic liquid, promising they will be healed of their sicknesses, adding that the Holy Spirit had instructed him to use the product.
The Dettol company warned the prophet to stop the practice because oral consumption of its product can endanger health. Euphemia Annor, the regional legal director of Dettol South Africa, said:
“Dettol has been proved to be safe and effective when used as per recommended directions; however it is not for human consumption and is for external use only. We are against Prophet Phala using the product inappropriately.”
Even after the company called the prophet on his phone and asked him to stop the practice, he was unfazed. When Daily Sun SA called him on Saturday, Phala said he had already bought four bottles of the product for use during yesterday’s service.(Sunday, December 11th)
“After last week’s service I have been receiving amazing testimony from members of my church” he claimed.
